Registration is open for the Girls Who Code Chicago Summer Immersion Program. This selective, hands-on, seven-week summer program is growing once again. This year they will host programs in 17 cities around the country, including Chicago, Charlotte, Austin, Atlanta, Boston, Miami, LA, NYC, Seattle, Newark, DC, and around the San Francisco Bay Area. The Summer Immersion Program helps them grow their tech skills and build personal networks in the field.
Round one of the application process is super easy. And the program is free thanks to generous corporate and philanthropic donors. This amazing opportunity open to girls who are current high school sophomores or juniors in the United States.
Truly a life-changing program, many alumni go on to major in CS or a related field and many go on to teach others to code. Many have also moved on to technical internships at top tech companies like Facebook, Google, and others.
