This post contains affiliate links. I’m leaning toward books this holiday season and I’ve got a whole pile to recommend. First up is the one fresh from my mailbox, Super Cool Tech from DK Books. Designed for tech-curious kids ages 8-12, the book has a sleek, silver hardcover that resembles a laptop. Just flip open the lid, err, cover and let the learning begin.
Super Cool Tech Book Review
Adults who want to learn more about new technologies will also enjoy Super Cool Tech. The 192-page book is broken down into six chapters: Play, Move, Construct, Power, Live, and Future. Each chapter highlights 10 or more cutting-edge pieces of technology. For example, the Play chapter literally breaks down the Xbox One, highlighting the key components inside the unit with full-color graphics. Typical entries include how the device works with an overview of its design and function in addition to related facts and figures.
As is DK’s style, this book is easy to read in snippets. Just open it up to a random page and learn a few things.
Super Cool Tech has a retail price of $24.99. A copy was sent to me for review.
