Earlier this year I had the privilege of hanging out with Beth Engelman, AKA Mommy on a Shoestring, to showing her some classic kitchen science fun. We had a blast and because her column of the same name runs in the Pioneer Press newspapers, friends from all over the Chicago suburbs wrote to tell me they saw me in their papers.
Beth also appears as a regular guest on Chicago’s WCUI-TV sharing family-friendly activities. In a recent episode, she showed off a couple of the “experiments” we originally did together. By the way, this really does take place at her kitchen table.
What are your favorite kitchen table science activities?
